So I'm a total insomniac. I probably wont be asleep for another six hours in fact. It's not that I don't like sleep - in fact I think insomniacs love sleep more than any other person, but I just cant fall asleep like other people do. I lived through highschool with like 2 hours of sleep and coffee/tea the entire time. Ofc its not entire a bad thing. I have so much time to do anything - despite me not spending that time doing anything important. My mind also seems to be most awake at around 3am so it also helps that any work I have ends up being done more effectively than most others. But then there are the actual down sides which according to studies include but are not limited to: diabetes, going crazy, cardiac problems, crappy personality, and a whole slew of others. Even so I kinda don't regret/hate being this way. It's so much more peaceful at night~
